Empty bottle and container prices: requesting a 1 or 5 litre quotation
Capacity alone does not determine price
A useful comparison of one-litre or five-litre empty plastic bottles begins with the same product specification and delivery scope. Equal volume does not establish equal material, body design, weight, neck geometry or order quantity. A transparent and a coloured bottle should not be treated as equivalent based on photographs alone.
This page is not a current bottle price list. The Peksan expertise presented here concerns closures and related packaging components. Bottle and container supply conditions should be confirmed with the relevant manufacturer. A bottle drawing and sample can support a separate closure compatibility assessment.
Information to include in an enquiry
Specify the intended use, filled product, target volume and material. Include a neck drawing or verified finish specification, colour target, quantities and repeat-order plans. Record any separate acceptance requirements for one-litre, five-litre or other container sizes.
Ask whether the price includes the cap, liner, handle, labelling and freight. State the packaging arrangement, delivery address and expected schedule. Quotations with different tax or transport scopes should not be compared as though they represented the same unit cost.
Wholesale and small orders
Wholesale supply, sample orders and requests for a few replacement bottles can have different conditions. Minimum quantity, production batches, special colours or designs and lead time depend on the supplier. Do not assume a fixed discount or permanent availability from stock.
When sourcing in Izmir, assess delivery proximity alongside total cost and technical suitability. The same approach applies to jerrycans and other containers: define the opening, body and carrying arrangement as well as capacity.
Approve samples before choosing by price
Test the bottle, closure and actual filled product together. Assess application, opening, sealing, transport and storage against agreed criteria. The lowest price alone does not identify the most suitable package.
Record which quotation revision corresponds to the approved specification and sample. Request notification of later changes to material, weight or neck design. This allows a repeat order to be checked against the scope of the original assessment rather than relying on a familiar product name.
